SHOULD I DO CARDIO TO LOSE WEIGHT
By Noelle Walker at New Fitness
Many people wonder if they should just focus on cardio to lose weight. After all cardio is what burns calories. Right? Well yes cardio does indeed burn calories. But that’s it . That is the limitation of doing just cardio.
To effectively lose weight(fat) you need to do more than just cardio. I don’t know if you have heard this before but muscle burns nine times more fat than if you had hardly any muscle at all aka doing just cardio.. Plus you just look plain better, more fit, more tight with muscle.
LOSE WEIGHT THE RIGHT WAY
So in order to effectively lose weight, keep it off and look good in shorts and or a bikini or whatever you need to build muscle and do weight training very regularly every single week.
DONT FORGET ABOUT NUTRITION
One factor has been left out of this equation in order to lose weight/fat and that is nutrition. This is mandatory. You cannot skip on the diet part. You will need to eat healthy and properly in order to reach your goals of losing weight and keeping it off. DO NOT starve yourself or go on an all cucumber diet. You need balance including a ton of protein, carbs(veges and fruit) and moderate fat(healthy). You will also need to drink a ton of water.
CARDIO, WEIGHTS AND NUTRITION
So as you can see it is not just one thing that is going to allow for weight loss, it is a combination of things and when cardio, weights and nutrition come together in a nice little package you have results. Massive results. Everyone and anyone can lose weight. I don’t care if you’re carb sensitive or your whole family’s fat. Or you think you have an unusually slow metabolism. As long as you bring all these things together , you will lose weight and you will see results.
